Anyone ordered from LMC before?

I just got my free LMC truck catalog I requested. The catalog is very well put together and it has basically everything to build a truck ground up. I have to say that I am impressed with everything offered. Plus it is specific to Chevy/GMC s10/s15 pickups and blazers from 83-05.

I know its all aftermarket, but has anyone used any of their products before? Can anyone offer any feedback about LMC? I am looking to replace my hood insulator (its pretty beat up) and my rotten hood hinge seals. Prices here seem very reasonable. Just wanted to check with you guys in case it was all junk......

ordered a carpet kit for the wifes blazer from them a few years back. It fit pretty good, i had to steam a few spots to mold it. Not bad for aftmkt parts thou.

The hood insulator you can still get from GM parts, I think about $20--$30, maybe the hood hinge seal also.

Good idea, Ray-Thanks....I didn't think that would be something that a GM dealership would carry. I will try the Chevy dealership I used to work for on Monday. Anyone know of any websites that you can order real authentic GM OEM parts from if they come up empty?

I ordered a bunch of smaller parts for my ty. I sent half of them back because the fit was poor and thought keep the Chinese junk away from me.Guy oem if you can find it.

I am browsing the gmpartsdirect. site and it seems very good! I plan on getting the stuff I need there first and will fall back on the LMC as a last resort.

At least I have something to read in the bathroom this week (until the wife's next Victoria's Secret catalog arrives)

I got some replacement body parts for my S15, and its a toss up. The tailgates are absolute garbage, they are no where near as thick or tough (or heavy) as the GM part. The front fenders were pretty good, along with the cab corners and various patch panels, except the clown that did the bodywork did a $hitty job. Little stuff like the domelight cover seemed to be fine, although I have reason to believe that the heater control assy ($150 from them ) is bad, since my blower fuse keeps getting fried whenever I change modes :dunno:

I ordered haedlight buckets and hardware from them and it is fine, but gm parts direct is the way to go if possible, got my 11 blade astro fan there.

i got a tailgate from them as well, its being used on my sy, but my body guy had to do a lot of work to make it line up like it shouold and make it look good. Everything else i have gotten from lmc has been ok.

I ordered a interior door handle and wow did it look like crap and feel really cheap. I actually didnt even put it in yet and i got it about a year ago if not longer. I guess it all depends what you need.

I have ordered quite a bit from them for my 63, and have nothing but good things to say about them.:tup:
