Stay away from RoadMaster in IL.
The screw over customers, dont warrenty the parts mainly break, over charge, and god forbid you ask for help on any problems...they treat you like a moron when you explain a problem to them and you arent a tranny guru.

There are many quality vendors on the board that offer rebuilt, and rebuilding of transmissions. My personal tranny is going to Waller, as he's done my engine, and I'd prefer stick with him. You won't find a bad word about him or the quality of his products he offers.

I would just do some research on installing a 4L80 and get away from the 4L60.

I am having my transmission rebuilt right now. The shops name is "Maddog transmissions" in Tarpon Springs, Fl. The owner has 20 plus years experience with transmissions . On the night I dropped of my ty , the owner pulled out a box of all the heavy duty parts that were going into my trans. - I was impressed !! He told me it will handle over 500 hp after he is finished . I also have an ATR 2500 stall w/ lockup going into it as well . I was on my way up to pick up the truck tonight as they were testing it , and they found out were my 50 mph vibration was coming from ---- THE U/JOINT IN THE FRONT PROP SHAFT !!!! All I can say is ,thank god they found it before it let go. Now I am sitting at home looking at my toyota rental , hoping they can find the part to fix the prop shaft , and missing my ty dearly . I will keep you posted on the way the trans turns out.
