Antifreeze Ghost

I just bought a 91 sy and when I boost it uses antifreeze. I checked and there are no leaks (new radiator, no leaks that I can see). Do all syclones burn antifreeze?

No, they shouldnt use antifreeze at all,
my guesses are
1. hose or radiator leaking on motor that is hot and evaperating the water

2. Blown head gasket leaking water into cylender and burning it but this is unlikely, blowing headgaskets is rare on a sy.

3. you could have been really low and after it heates up it is being pushed over to your burp canistor

go get a oil analasis done soon this will tell you if you have gas in the motor , antifreeze, or any harfull metals floating around. most diesel motor shops will do this. and if there is antifreeze in the motor get everything presure tested also, for cracks

Check and make sure the heater core isn't shot.Lift up the pass. side carpet,and see if there's any antifreeze there,if there is,it's the heater core.

I bet it's the Intercooler cap.

The turbo coolant line runs right next to the hard lines from the tranny to the tranny cooler. They can all rub together causing small leaks in any of them. Because of their location, the leaking liquid may drop right on the exhaust thus evaporating without a trace. The tranny oil will eventually start to smoke noticably.

I was losing coolant and that is where is ended up going.

take the hose off of your intercool tank between the tb and the tank see if you have some coolant sitting in there thats what happened to mine and i had to get a new intercool tank

yup i second this opinion, i was also loosing coolant, looked under my carpet, wola.... wet pass floorboard.
