60 miles N of Nashville. If you are ever passing through, you are welcome to stop by but you cant stay too long, because I have heard said that after 3 days, fish and company stink (grin).

Re: Annual Group photo

Thanks, my friend. I just try to represent the community well in NW Tennessee.

The Bowtie build from the Lap 1 Ty is in the process of getting transplanted into the Aspen.....you really don't wanna see pics of either at this time; trust me :). Hope to have pics posted by the end of the month though.

I put a pic of the Notch as my avatar. This forum is not the best place to portray pics of my other weapons of mass destruction so I do my best to limit the pics to Sy's, Ty's or SGT's, however since you insisted...
oh em gee. Jizz in my pants. I wish my notch was half as nice as yours.
how about pictures of that red mustang you got :)

Keep in mind I have the advantage of 25 years on you. I'll give you a tidbit of advice since you are a likeable fellow: Don't spend more than you make and stay out of debt at ALL cost. I was about your age when I learned that valuable lesson. My grandma told me one time, "Most people buy things they cannot afford, with money they do not have, to impress people they do not like". The older I get, the more I see the wisdom of what she said years ago. In time Carlos, I am confident you will possess nicer toys than mine ;).

Thank you for the wise words sir.

I had 2 red ones. The 1988 Saleen was given to a local 68 y.o. friend last October. His wife said I made him covet whenever I drove it to Church since his first car was a mustang so my wife and I decided to make his day and give it to him. The 2000 Cobra R left my garage in April on a enclosed trailer with a lift system inside. A collector in CA contacted me and subsequently bought it. BTW, all my vehicles are for sale :).

Awesome to see another non-brand-loyalist ;) You by chance wouldn't have a red Saleen foxbody rear swaybar in your garage would you? Broke mine a couple years ago at Willowsprings.

No sir, I do not. There is a plethora of fox body sites online that might be able to help you but foxbody Saleen items are getting hard to obtain (you probably already know that). When I restored mine, 1 wheel center cap was $96. Finding original 1/4 windows took intense labor. All the best with yours....they are neat little cars and they were hot in their day.

That's golden right there...and it's a hard lesson but well worth it.

Happy Birthday. ;)

Happy Birthday. ;)

Thanks for the thoughtfulness. Even though my sleep pattern is 10 PM - 5 AM, the days seem to be growing shorter but it might be that I piddle in a lot of jobs instead of sticking to one and completing it, like I used to do when I was a lil younger.
