air conditioner

My air conditioner works good but the top vents do not blow air on any setting the bottom floor vents blow good what do i need to replace to get it blow through the top vents thank you

i know under the cowl panel where your wiper are. there is something there for the vents i think. dont quote me on that. but my blazer did the same i had nothing coming out of the vents. i had some on defrost and some come out on the floor. no matter where i had the position. i looked at everything and never figured it out. i just noticed that piece under the cowl when i took mine off the sy, but never checked what it was for.if you figure out what that is let me know.

Its a vaccume line on the middle of the firewall. Or atleast close to there on a regular sonoma, that happened to my old truck. All I had to do was find the vac line, it was off, and replace it and it worked again, the vac powers that "thing" that makes the "fwap" noise when you switch from AC to defrost, and redirects the airflow.
