AEM Wideband

Has anyone installed an AEM wideband and I was wondering if they have pictures of the wiring of it and or a diagram

it is easy wiring RED BLACK and WHITE, and blue is for a stand alone. I was wondering if anyone know of a way to get 12 volt power and Ignsion source without cutting it to i the trucks wiring

I wouldn't cut up my wiring, i'd tap into the fuse box first

I just installed my AEM wideband today took my about an hour.The hardest part was fishing thoes big wires up the pilar.On the harness with the four wires(red-black-white-blue) I only used two the red and black.In the fuse box there is an ignition that is not used i put the red wire there and ground black.I'll post up some pic tomorrow if you need to see what i did.Works fine when i fired it up.

I have the Aem wired in one of my Turbo cars. i think its a great unit, nice that they come calibrated ready to install. Make sure the ground is perfect, its real easy for that gauge to get thrown off by it, that read out should be bright red, not dimming at all.

I put the sensor about 14in. away from the turbo,dropped the fender down drilled a 5/8in hole using a step bit then welded bung in.Ran the harness into truck on the pass side around the lower heater box inside and up to the pilar.Ran the power harness down the pilar along the dash and by the fuse box.I cut the extra black cover back so the wires would be longer,taped up the White and Blue wires up and tucked them away.I pluged the red wire into the IGN fuse box with a 15amp fuse,there's a empty spot were a black plug goes i just took it out and put the wire there and put the plug back in.Ran the ground under the dash.Turned key on and good to go.

i would have never tapped into the fuse box like that man. its a fire hazard waiting to happen! just get a schematic of ur ignition switch and find the wires under the column. take a razor blade and strip off a section of insulation and solder in ur wires. GM hot wires are usually red but sometimes the hot at all times wires are orange. check it with a power probe or test light before making any connections.
