I suspect I have a leaky Rear Main Seal is this some kinda engine oil sending unit or is it for the tranny? It gets coated with oil after i spray it down with brake cleaner and I havn't even driven the truck in weeks.

Its your oil filter relocator.. If you follow the lines you will find that they go up to your oil filter the front section of the driver's side fender.. NAPA has a rebuild kit for where it bolts to the engine there.. Its just a few O rings.. I would start with that..

Same as for a 4WD S-10.

DON'T mention Syclone or Typhoon!!!

Good advice and info

You'll find at times it's best to mention another model if there is one that shares the same parts. I use to have all kinds of hell with my SVO and Autozone. Now it's starting all over again with my Regal. Thankfully the T-types/GN share some basic parts with the N/A Regals where as my SVO shared very little with the regualr Stang.

After you took the male end off how did u guys get the old gasket off the female end? Can't really fit anything in there and the dremel wire brush just polishes it and doesn't get rid of the old gasket material...

Anyone know the torque specs for the re-locator adapter bolts? Also why is the oil leaking at those two bolts? Mine is also doing that.
