For Sale: 1993 GMC Typhoon – 95,117 miles – Dublin, Ohio – $3500
This Typhoon project has a newly rebuilt short block. The short block is assembled, but it is out of the vehicle and the heads/intake will need to be installed. Vortec heads are included, but will need to be drilled for the SyTy bolt pattern. The truck has the typical Midwest rust spots (doors/fenders/quarters). Cladding is all there, aside from a small chip on the driver side rear quarter (see photos). There are a few parts listed below that will need to be added to complete the truck. Feel free to PM me for more details.

Modifications:
-Vortec heads (will need to be drilled to match lower intake bolts)
-Lower intake modified for Vortec heads
-Comp Cams 412 cam
-4 bolt mains
-Eagle H-Beam connecting rods
-TCI 2800 stall torque converter
-High volume lower intercooler
-Aftermarket chip for TE44 turbo/L35 heads/412 cam

-Upper intercooler
-Intercooler pump/hoses
-Turbo
-Turbo-back exhaust
-Radiator
-Power steering pump pulley
-Head gaskets

The rebuild stalled out from a combination of a busy work schedule and a deteriorating lower back... I can't spend hours on end hunched over like I used to. I'm hoping someone from the forums can pick up the torch.

The urge is always there... why wouldn't it be...these are cool trucks. But I've already started my project and have almost every thing to complete it. So I'll be sticking with what I have...lol. But I do have a buddy that loved my Syclone and Typhoons when I had them and I think me building this current AWD project has put the itch into him. So he wants me to find him a roller or a cheap Typhoon. So I've been keeping an eye on the board for him.
