Hello all,

New to this site but have been looking for a Ty for a few years now and am finally able to make it work. Lots of great info here! I think I officially spend too much time tooling around this website...

I think I've found a couple good prospects. Curious if anyone knows anything about '92 Ty #887. Its for sale on autotrader at a very reasonable price considering the mileage. Looks like a pretty good deal to me unless I'm missing something??? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Sorry that this post probably doesn't belong here, but I can't post anywhere else?!?!?!?!

I actually saw that on sportmachines.com How long ago did you sell it? Did you check out the autotrader ad? Seems pretty reasonable to me. I talked to the guy that's selling it and he said there is no radio in it currently but other than that there are no problems. The pictures make the truck look really sharp. Have you heard anything about it since you sold it? Do you have any contact with the current owner? Any ideas why so cheap?Thanks!

sold it over 2 years ago.

i know he was fixing the front bumper and fender cladding mounting tabs, and dealing with the radio issue. front seats were replaced, by me. the truck was involved in a minor rear end accident, were rear bumper support, bumper, right rear cladding were replaced and painted and the tailgate was repainted as well.

it has been painted before, i got it.

no, contact with nick, since i sold it.

no idea why.

cool, thanks for the info. he did mention something about the front bumper not lining up correctly so i'm pretty sure he hasn't fixed it. good to know that it was involved in a minor accident. doesn't sound too serious and the carfax was clean. did you replace the seats with '92 or '93 seats?
