Had the fog lights on in the Typhoon and blazer and noticed that the Typhoon looked a lot brighter, and then my passenger side fog light on the blazer stopped working. Found a pair of stock fog lights on ebay for $75, and since this wasn't for the Typhoon, I decided to find a cheaper way
(if it was for the Typhoon I would buy new). The problem with the passenger side was the fact that the back of the metal housing was getting pretty corroded so I knocked off the rust so it could get a good connection again and that fixed it. Then I decided to fix the fact that they weren't very bright..so here are the pictures
my tool of choice (stuff was a pain to work with but its better than nothing I guess)
What I was dealing with
Knocked all of the old "chrome" off until all that was left was the black, then applied the "metal tape"...like I said, this stuff sucked to work with, would not lay down flat for anything. But I just needed some reflection to the lense
Can you tell which one has been done?
