I have 2 6l80e from a 2006 caddys (2wd) that are warranty swaps so hopefully I can get the parts made to put 6 speed auto in the syclone:tup:

Awesome!

I wonder how much modifying would have to be done to the 4L80E conversion process already...like a few changes to the JSM kit?

a 6 speed auto Ty would be drool worthy....

Oh, that's why I never heard back ;)
Good luck! Hopefully you'll get the controls worked out. That's the hard part.
I don't think any parts are available yet to fix them. Be careful taking it apart for the output shaft if you have to do it.
I've read a little about the 6. It doesn't HAVE to shift through all six gears to get to full speed. The controller picks the BEST gear you need depending on how your are driving. Should be awsome...automatic with the ability to do real racing through curves and you not have to touch a thing.
Here's the ratios"
6L80-E
First: 4.027
Second: 2.364
Third: 1.532
Fourth: 1.152
Fifth: 0.852
Sixth: 0.667
Reverse 3.064

Look at first. Talk about stump pulling.
