$58 definition file

I know that somebody modifyed a $58 def file to be able to read BG's 3bar BIN files. I e-mailed TunerCat but they have no idea what to do. I also e-mailed BG and he told me that somebody already modifyed it, so i'm asking if anybody with a mod $58 file would be kind enough to send me a copy so i can read 3bar with my TunerCat and Romulator, thanks.

Pretty sure that Dig did that for Larson some time ago. I've got the stuff at home but won't be able to send to you until later tonite......maybe Mark or Phil will see this before then.

So the standard $58 bin file won't work with a 3bar bin. Is there an available place to get this file. I have looked all over diy-efi etc.

About to go back to promgrammer. :eek:)

The Tunercat definition file will read 3 bar, it just won't display the corrected units in the tables b/c it was designed for 2 bar. Use Promgrammer for referencing display units, it automatically switches to display correct 3 bar units where BG made code changes.

I guess what I'm trying to say is the functionality of Tunercat is not affected by the display units. It's early - need coffee - hope this makes sense. See this post:
