Finally got around to install my LC-1 today. In the processes of installation I ended up removing stuff. I took out a rat's nest of wiring that used to be an alpine alarm system. I had to remove the console so I could remove the alarm main unit and look what I found! If syty's could talk imagine the stories they would tell.

So what interesting stuff or paraphernalia have you found tearing apart a syty?

Im not going to lie thats about two good hits and it looks like it is some fire.I would have been like hell yeah as i was pulling my lighter out of my pocket!:lol:

I found over $25 in change (no thats not a typo) under the center console of my '92 I bought years ago. The storage compartment had a crack in it and I guess over the years whatever change was put in there eventually found its way through the crack. When I finally lifted the center console up when I was removing it, change flowed out like a rushing river. It was definitely a WTF SyTy moment.

I found a couple roaches, a deck of cards, a pair of sunglasses, and of course the usual pocket change the first time I cleaned my ty.

lucky you were not pulled over and searched for anything. suck to go to jail for a pipe and weed that a prev owner left behind. Id hit it too, no i wouldnt, ive got way better and fresher stuff available to smoke some old who knows what it is shit.

That's a perfect reason to NEVER give consent to a police officer to search your car. Plus, it's kind of an ugly pipe.

I think the tiki pipe is kinda cool. The pipe must have been in there for a while. It didn't even smell like weed. I was hoping to find something cool like a wad of cash or a gun, something useful, but at least this made for an interesting topic.

The white ty I just picked up had a pack of rubbers behind the back seat,fortuntely there were no stains on the seat.The green one I bought last year had a bill fold with $63 in the console.

Putting the coilovers on the Syclone I saw a telescoping magnet stuck in the frame hole near the caliper hose clip. I pulled it out and a full set of house keys were on the end. Fished around in there and found a 15mm, 13mm, and 10mm wrench.

A buddy of mine bought a car on eBay and upon delivery, there was a brand new Bosch Tech 2 diagnostic system in the trunk. He called the seller and he was like, "Tech-what?"

I prolly wouldnt have smoked it but i would have at least thought about it.Yeah you right i do have way better stuff to smoke but what if that was some FFFFFFFFIIIIIIIRRRRRRREEEEEEE i would felt like i had missed out on something.

My dad bought his '70 Chevelle SS around 1990. When we started taking it apart 1995ish, found a good size bag of weed under the center console. On my Ty, found nothing but a shit load of moldy food under the back seat when I removed it. Nothing spectacular.
