Been wanting to do this for a long time, finally have had time to remove frt end off to begin install. I dont think you could fit a larger one in there and still be able to have a/c. Here is pics before i put the grille+bumper back on, just waiting on 2 more silicon reducers and its done. Its a godspeed unit, core is 24"x12"x3" overall length on bottom is 31". 3" mandrel bent piping. As you can see i had to remove a lot of material to set the intercooler back to clear the grille, i had to remove material from back of grille as well. Had to modify hood latch and build new braces, Also reclocked turbo. Whew, trust me this all sounds simple but its not. Ill load up finished pictures as soon as i get the reducers.

i got the intercooler off of ebay, its a pretty common size for the nissan 240sx with the sr20 swap, but in those you have an abundance of room in the front end.

I would love to get the other intake, but dont have the extra cash to get one right now unless someone has one laying around for a good deal.

Very nice work. Would like to tackle this myself one day. I thought about removing the hood latch stuff all together and just using hood pins on my cowl hood.

it was only necessary to trim about 3/8" from the bottom of the hood latch. I was getting worried,i did not want to have to run hood pins.
