Just sending out a lil update on the nats so far... Its all been a blast as usual. Im having trouble putting all the madness into words, probably because much of Friday nite is blank. :drinking:

Tonight (or last nite??) was a good time, sat around and bs'd for hours while it rained, we decided as a group a few hours of sleep could be of help for the drive home. However, the elevator scare woke me right back up... nothing like being trapped on a elevator with 8-9 other sytyer's. We survived.

Need sleep, im out.

Words cannot even express the fun I had this year. Im at Ted's house right now, we just got back from dropping the ChiTown boys off at the airport. Ill be out here for another week till I head back to NJ.

I most certainly cannot thank Dennis Klinger enough for GIVING me his stock propshaft, after I broke mine in Ohio and drove to all the way to Double Tree on it (later winning me the broken truck award). Im sure Dennis is enjoying his new Dynotech shaft after kicking Jason & my butts in the tire changing contest. Its guys like Dennis who make this SyTy family so great and although its just a old used propshaft, it meant a great deal to me and Ill definately never forget it.

I would also like to thank SoCal SyTy guys for backing the Longest Distance Traveled award, not only with a SoCal SyTy shirt, but a cash prize as well. At this moment, I would like to announce that since I won that award this year, NASTE would be more than happy to contribute to that award next year and hopefully we can return the favor by giving some of the guys a west a NASTE t-shit :wink wink nudge nudge:

Man, I cannot believe the weekend is over already. I guess time flys when you're having fun. For those of you who didnt attend, you missed out bigtime. The elevator incident was definately funny :)

I need to submit this before the battery on Teds laptop dies, but I would just like to give thanks to everyone who setup this years events and also all those who attended.

I cannot wait till next year.

The Klinger's rock!!! Aaron let me use his helmet all day saturday and Dennis traded me a 3 gauge pod for a kb chip sunday. They also brought Bob G. with them and he gave me a great deal on some elect. fans. THANK YOU guys! People like them are why i come back year after year.

I just woke up after driving 16 hours 20 minutes/ 1158 miles (second to Morgan for most stripes).

I got to tell ya what a great time the nats were. This was my first time going but it was awesome!.

First Morgan and I drove there starting out on wednesday night and meeting up with a bunch of sy/ty'ers in missouri. We all drove into Kansas. What a site and experience.

Finally got to put faces/trucks to names. Met many extremely friendly people. Jimmy Mann, Joe K and his wife, Bob Galla, Aaron and Dennis Klinger, Patrick Johnson, Jason and Heather Granger and the list goes on.

I think there were several things that would make this event even better. 1. For me to trailer in my syclone 2. Fly in, I'm to old to drive 1200 miles each way. 3. GO RACING!!!!! and 4. A better turn out. I would have loved to see 100 trucks, marlboro's, Indy's etc.

I wanted to thank those who organized the event. Patrick Johnson, Brian and Jill Dourty, Jason and Heather Granger, and Gabe and Julie Estrada and any others I may have missed.

Bob, Dennis, Aaron - I never saw you guys on the road on the way back. I hooked up with a 2K Corvette driving to Pennsylvania and we were flying!

It was great meeting you Mike. Too bad you wouldnt race that great looking Ty. Next year bring your Sy..i really want to see the beast from the east.

I just want to add my $0.02 as well. The Nebraska guys had a great time putting names with faces as well as learning a TON about our trucks. I can't thank Joe enough for all his help with race instruction, engine help and friendliness. I also want to publically thank Peter Albrecht for his help and generosity of getting pics to me ASAP and info on parts. All-in-all It was one HELL of an experience and we are already looking forward to next year. BUT, watch out Joe, stock class won't be going to Tennessee anymore. We have 363 days to practice, and you better believe we're going to get it down better. Thanks to the organizers, all of which were already named. IT WAS A BLAST.

You guys are the ones that should watch out next year. Im not going to win the stock class next year. Christina will be driving the Ty. She had been practicing last year before out little surprise came along. If that doesnt scare you just ask anybody about her boost launch in applebees parking lot after the '03 nats....be afraid...be very afraid. :lol:

Well I do have enough parts to put the Lynn's Ty back into stock class.....

Lynn versus Christina at the 05 Nats. Two chicks. Two Ty's , Two carseats, One dragstrip. ..................

Yeah Jim's daughter ran his Ty wearing abicycle helmet. LoL

And Heather would have made a pass in ours had the transfercase not been singing the blues.

Powder Puff racing was on the agenda this year, but there wasnt enough interest.
Next year will be BIGGER AND BETTER!
