10 second run last nite

So last nite got to the track with this new combo.

Gt40 non-BB (will be changing this later) and MPE FMIC with new piping and 3.5 inch

HEY MORGAN THANKS FOR INTRODUCING ME TO KEITH!!!

He is a great guy and got the whole thing done in only 2 days. We did have a bit of delay in getting the core shipped from australia.

But intake temps stayed at 120 degrees all the way down the track.

Best run was made at 23psi.

Launch was with lower boost (low to us anyway) of only 14psi. As we needed to find out why and When the green dots were breaking loose.

The tires werent breaking loose off the line but at the top of 1st gear

Found it was towards the end of the 60ft. so we made a few runs adjusting the ramps on the msbc. (try that with a stinking boost control knob).

So the results: (btw everything here is a new best)

60ft 1.543
330ft 4.420
1/8 et 6.867
1/8 mph 99.77 < ------ bummer we didn’t hit 100
990ft 8.949
¼ Et 10.850
MPH 121.79

First of all, I didnt introduce you to Keith, I dont know how, when or where you met him, so PLEASE do not associate anything having to do with him, back to me. The next time you put Keiths and my name in the same thread, Im simply gonna delete all your shit from the NASTE site and forget I ever knew ya, cause im sick of hearing about this bullshit already.

He does great work, I always gave him props for that and I never had a personal problem with him either, unfortunately his business skills or lack there of and lack of time management skills basically pushed me over the edge and pissed me off.

He could probably weld your whole truck up in a day, if he actually sat down and spent the time on it instead of trying to do 1000000 other things at the same time, which was typical for him back in the day. I dunno, prehaps he's changed, I dont, I dont wanna know, I have better things to do with my time.

So for you, congrats on your 10 second pass, its a LONG time coming.

For Keith, hopefully this means you turned a new leaf and things are going better for you. Don't screw it up. :wink:

yeah really, fwiw visor was worth 2 tenths....

so i walk next door this am. guys in shop see me holding timeslip and they say, If it aint a 10second timeslip i dont want to see it.

I just smiled and stuck my hand out to em. One of the guys eyes got real big! priceless!

Morgan...I had absolutely no biffs with you in the beginning, but when you had begun bitching because I wouldnt put you first in line over my other paying work and my own family, you bitched your way out of here, I had first hand knowledge of this because one of your best friends worked for me. Now let me ask you this: why would I want to build parts for free as a "sponsorship" which is advertising, using our own materials and time, when the customer in question aleready started bitching about the project 20% the way through completion? You may not agree with me, but who really gives a poop anyway, cause it wont get neither of us anywhere by :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: arguing. I called the project off. Yes I had a titload on my plate back in the day at the old shop, everyone knew that! Our company grew into a raging animal, and myself only 21-22 years old at the time was the only one controlling the battle. I never asked to be first so I dunno what Dan told you but leave him out of it, and I only started to bitch when you would make appointments and then bail out of them the day before, after I changed my plans. You had MANY MONTHS to do this and all I got was 1 rainy day.

WTF are you smoking?? Sponsorship?? Dude, the deal was you were going to use MY TRUCK as the mock up so YOU could EXPAND your PRODUCT LINE so you could make more money and in exchange I got a downpipe for my time being out there and use of my truck. Promoting your product was a "given" in the whole deal, naturally I would recommend a product or someone who does good work, just like I did when everyone asked to did the awesome welds on my airbox.

so one day this guy walks in wanting to borrow my old pte downpipe. him and this guy i never met want to make something new and they need to see how pte did a syty dp...... anyway without naming names the guy i never met before became a good friend which was great because his fabrication skils are the best of anyone i know!

Ed I am suprised you haven't had any cooling difficulties with that air to air unit. I knew a similar truck that had that set up and he ended up moving the radiator to the bed of the truck and still couldn't solve the problems. He ended up selling it, last I heard.
