Re: Sy dies after 30 seconds Thanks VermontTy! I will double check the grounds tomorrow. I might have messed up the ground by the intake manifold when I took out the metal intercooler pipes. Hopefully this problem will be as simple as a loose or bad ground. Thanks for the replies, Brian

Re: Sy dies after 30 seconds I just went thru the whole truck before this problem came up and replaced everything I could think of maintenance related. Pcv valves, o2 sensor, vacuum lines, replaced intercooler lines with rubber hose, new thermostat, all ignition components, oil pressure...

Re: Sy dies after 30 seconds I got a fuel pressure gauge and it holds pressure even when it dies. It is right around 38-39psi. When it dies it goes up to about 42-43psi. Any other ideas?? Thanks, Brian

I found the problem. The rotor was spinning freely on the distributor :roll: The key inside the rotor was completely gone. I have no idea how we missed that when we took it apart. Oh well, truck is running like a champ now. Thanks again, Brian

Good idea on the fuse. :tup: My original ignition module worked fine except at WOT. Tried swapping to a brand new one and the truck wouldn't start. Even after I swapped back to the original one it wouldn't start again. Do you think both of them are messed up??
