Re: HEEELLLPPPP Front axle woes? Will the axle turn? Sounds like you should be clear of the spline but could be catching on the bearings. Look at the pic and you can see how it could snag on the bearings.

Re: HEEELLLPPPP Front axle woes? I posted pics of the driver side. It will look exactly the same except the axle will be about 18" longer. So atleast you know what your looking at. GM # is14041989 and they call it a snap ring and it cost a whooping $5.00 Wish it was a simple fix.

Re: HEEELLLPPPP Front axle woes? Installed new CV's noise was still there. Pulled on front axle/cv flange and driver side axle popped out, C clip was broke. Changed out complete diff. Now, no more noise.
