Hello from NJ!! I was reading about ABS issues, and a thread popped up that you were a part of. I just bought a 92' Aspen, and the other day the Anti-Lock light came on, yet the braking still seems ok. Im gonna scan it today to find out what/why. I don't want to remove the unit due to originality/RAR1TY of the truck, but from all the horror stories about it, why not just unplug it and disable the system and light? My question then would be, is there anything else I should do once ive unplugged it? And obviously no more ABS, but still good old school stopping should be achieved right? I don't want to cause more issues with the braking. Thank you SO much for your time, it is much appreciated!!!
