Re: Engine overheating after intake remove/replace? Yup new gaskets, and I took the thermostat out to eliminate that possibility - leaking where and how would that affect temps so drastically? Sure, factory guages are always suspect, but isn't a guess where you need to start if the trouble...

Hey! Is there any alternate way to remove the power steering pulley other than with the special tool it needs? I want to take that whole bracket off but there's that bolt I can't get at behind the tank itself = I'm stuck without getting this pump out first...does a place like Auto Zone or...

Hey! When it comes to Vortec heads, casting number 772 looks to be the ones to look for correct? What about stock rebuild heads? Any particular casting #s that flow better than stock, but wouldn't need the intake mod? Any good links describing the options? Thanks guys!
