    Intercooler directional?

Re: Intercooler directional? Thanks guys, that's pretty much what I was thinking, although hitting the air with the "colder side" first is different but makes sense. Appreciate the confirmation and suggestion for frozenboost. Thanks!

    Intercooler directional?

This might be a stupid question, but consider the source... Do aftermarket water-air intercoolers flow either way is there a "direction" in the cooler fins? Also, is it better to have the water inlet closer to the air inlet or the outlet? I'm finding intercoolers that have the inlet/outlet...

    Cleaning fuel injectors

Does anyone have any recommendations on cleaning fuel injectors or of a reputable business to do so? I managed to get my truck running after many years of sitting - I siphoned out what old fuel I could and added fresh, but I'm thinking the injectors may be clogged open. It started up and ran...

    Dead MAP sensor?

Re: Dead MAP sensor? OK, progress may have been made. Good ground at all ECM points mentioned. Good ground also at the CTS, so I've deduced that the ground wire is bad somewhere between the split point for the CTS and the MAP. (It's a used replacement harness, so who knows...) I snipped the...

    Dead MAP sensor?

Re: Dead MAP sensor? Thanks for the huge help Dave! Check. A to ground = 0v B to ground = 4.4v C to ground = 5v A to B = 0.5v A to C = 0v And checking continuity A to ground, no continuity, so your assumption seems correct. Forgive me, I'm electricity-impaired. I assume I can...

    Dead MAP sensor?

So still working on getting my turd running after the engine fire 9 years ago. Don't judge. Been chasing a gremlin off and on for the past 8 years (more off than on) and think I may have found it - just looking for confirmation from people smarter than me. It has no codes, but runs pig-rich...

    Speedo moves with RPM

Re: Speedo moves with RPM I've never noticed it, but since I bought mine not running, it may have always done that and I just never knew. It only started to move above 4k rpm, so I guess as long as it runs "no harm, no foul". I'd be curious to find out more from others. Not considering it a...

    Speedo moves with RPM

Re: Speedo moves with RPM Still have it, 9 years after the fire and still not roadworthy. Nobody looking for a deal and small headache I guess. Stumbled across some things, wanted to post an update since who knows when I'll get to work on it next. (Maybe next year...) Pulled ECM/DRAC...

    Speedo moves with RPM

I have a feeling I'm going to answer my own question here, but I wanted to see if anyone else had this happen. In park and revving the engine, the speedo climbs to ~10mph, then falls back when allowed to fall back to idle. I'm assuming I have a bad ground somewhere (great) but wasn't sure if it...

NASTE Nats Attendees, when are you leaving?

Re: NASTE Nats Attendees, when are you leaving? Looks like we're leaving Reading on Thursday morning in an attempt to be there by sundown. Dad and Mom ("the rookie") in his Ty, me in the E92 unless I sell it by then. My truck still sucks ass years later, and Dad sold his trailer, so it won't...

Re: Post in here if you are going - trucks and people Good chance, provided nothing weird happens with the restaurant right before Nats. Planning on 2 Klingers (maybe 3), 2 Tys.
