what is a dsm

well the Ty is at the top of my list, i love to mod, and wrench but i'm in no place financially to have expensive repairs. i mean, any older car i buy used i'll give a once over and probably swap out alot of common stuff that just gets old like belts, hoses (thermostat), fluids, plugs, etc...

THAT... is exactly the thread i was seraching for, and why i started this topic. thank you. i LOVE tinkering, wrenching and modding, so this truck would be perfect for me,... at a different time due to financial crap. right now i need to be able to "fill it up and go" . not sure it will...

yeah my thought was to try to find a clean low miles one that has some kind of good history, but thats all tough to do not knowing the seller. but i mean i drive like 15 miles to work, and possibly can keep my current borrowed freebie truck as a back up. do these things feel like cheap...

anything in particular that tends to go on these things? i'm new to turbos but im a mod junky and a fairly competent motorcycle wrench in my spare time. i can deal with small stuff easily, but if i'm needing a new tranny every 6 mo, well... also not sure how easy it is to get parts for stuff...
