He is right i did say that and I won't respond to the topic again.

But what does humor me is I was sitting here wondering how long it would be before you ran your mouth again. I mean you are back behind a keyboard and all. When in person for 3 days and having ample time to say anything to anyone in person you weren't to be found.

That alone says it all.

Nats is a place for everybody to come and have fun and not stir up any issues. Jimmy understands this and choose not to stir up or voice his opinions on this matter.

Normally I avoid these topics and only skim them over when bored but almost always stay out of them. Just had to back Jimmy up for not starting a bunch of shit at nats so it could be an enjoyable event, years past didn't always happen that way.

That is not what I was saying or implying though.

If you can't have a discussion with someone at an event without causing "a bunch of shit" then that is a whole other problem.

Regardless though, if you can't say the same in person then you should not say it in the internet behind your keyboard.

Common Silly you know peoples cajones are the size of avacado's when they can hide behind a computer screen, then they magicaly shrink to peas when it becomes a face to face issue. Then the next thing you know there's money missing off the dresser and your daughter's knocked up...I've seen it a million times.

I am not here to say what is right or wrong, I am not a mod or all mighty either.

As part of nats crew we made sure nats was fun for everybody though.

Again I stay out of these if at all possible no matter who the vendor is. I have found through the years the stories are never portrayed here exactly like the real story is.

maybe because there aren't little kids running around on the forum

people aren't spending time and money to drive to the forum for a weekend

lots of people probably wouldn't show to Nats if they thought it was going to be an immature slugfest, its easier for people just to avoid threads.

Maybe its a case of not thinking before you type... I know Im guilty of that as much as anyone. Maybe its they ability to speak your mind without and serious or immediate reprocussions. There could be tons of maybes when it comes to this kinda stuff, is it proper or correct, no possibly not, but its the way things happen on the interweb at it has kinda become acceptable or the social norm, at least from what Ive seen not only here but on just about every forum.

Acceptable or not, it happens and there are only two results usually, one is that it gets ignored, the other is that it branched off into another multi page tangent and nothing really gets resolved anyway :lol:

I still have not heard a direct response from Guy, i would say everything I said here to his face. I just chose to keep it between the 2 of us, until which time I was fed up with it. I have also already let him know many times before that what he was doing to me was unacceptable. He could never give me a straight answer. So I consulted my lawyer, and he knows that. I assume thats what he means by being hostile.

Not quite sure what went on in this thread this morning, but i am in no way trying to ruin any event or gathering. Just letting everyone know about my experience.

I have also heard from other board members about their experience since posting mine, and they are eerily similar to mine.

This is the guy that after threats and hostile phone calls about finishing his truck couldnt pay the bill once it was done. For the FIRST TIME in my professional career I let a guy take a vehicle and make payments.

Last week it was nats and the next two it is a family vacation. (that I postponed to go to nats)

I got a couple messages from you when I could check my phone. Same tone as this thread. Hmmm, no call back? I wonder why that is?

Hello, I have very little time right now but want to make a note that I am also currently getting screwed (business wise) by Guy Reffett. I am in the process of getting a class action suit against him and his business. Anyone that has a ligitimate concern and would be interested in joining me and a couple others please contact me. It is time he stops his wrong doings. I will sometime this weekend answer any questions anyone has concerning my case. Send me a private message and we will talk about it and move forward with this.

I have searched and found plenty of results but didn't think anyone has had to go this far. If there are so many problems why does everyone act like the person complaining is off their gourd? When vetteandtyphoon bitched about his transmission everyone piled on him like he was crazy. It just seems like when people complain about a vendor, most of the time they are made out to be the bad guys....IMO.

Every story does have two sides......the only problem I see is that there are a lot of "stories" coming out about Rockford Racecraft. Where there is smoke there usually is fire. Just saying....

As far as members take sides, admin does not......... I have heard plenty to the contrary on that. I not on anyones side, I am all for heads up on bad vendors/members and protecting myself by utilizing all the information that is out there. I don't like to see anybody get screwed out of their hard earned money or someone get screwed on payment for services rendered.

As far as members take sides, admin does not......... I have heard plenty to the contrary on that.

in the end, administration are just board members themselves. We've talked about just making random screennames like "Admin 1" "Admin 2" etc...so that it's all anonymous and then realized whats the point. We don't have to hide behind what is being done to keep the board running/clean.

the admins and mods are allowed to have and voice opinions just like everyone else. Finding the appropriate place to draw the line is tough sometimes...but volunteerism allows us to make are own perceptions of what to do.

George Blake is gone now.. ATR is long gone... There is not alot of folks standing up to make parts for our trucks and a smaller number of us who know what to do to them.
It's not easy being a buisness owner.
I don't know either person or buisness in this instance but hope you two can come to a sutable resolve for the problem you've both gotten into.
