This is a standard LB4 4.3L from an Astro van. Non balance shaft, over 200K miles on it. I'm in Joliet Illinois so if you want it come grab it as a replacement or an engine to build up.

Can I use a balance shaft cam in a non balance shaft motor? Just curious.

Has anyone ever tried porting the entrance to their stocker intercooler, if so what did you gain power wise? I was also wondering if someone has replaced the stock inlet neck on it, as it looks quite restrictive to me.

I picked up a nice set of ARP head studs for SBC because the guy managed to lose a couple the long ones. There's only one prob, I don't know the specs for ARP head studs tq wise, can someone help me out? Got a set of main studs on the way too, and I've got rod bolts and an oil pan stud too...
