Well, finally saved up enough to buy a new set of rubber on my truck. Mounted them up on some recently purchased set of stock wheels. I'm finally glad I got my chromes off my truck. Also mounted another set of tires that were donated to me on my old chromes. What do you guys think?

Re: New shocks? Any opinions? I recommend Koni specials. But they're about double the price of any regular shocks. I have them on my autocrosser, and will eventually get a set on my Sy.

Re: what helmet do you use? Sorry, little off topic, but dgoodhue, your truck looks killer in that picture! But yeah, I did hear supposively the Snell 05's will be out pretty soon. I would say, find a used (or really cheap) Snell 95 until the 05's come out. Then get one of those.

Re: what helmet do you use? I use an HJC (I think that's what it is) open face Snell 95 helmet that I bought from a motorcycle shop for about $70. I use it for drag racing, autocrossing, and road racing.

Re: New wheels...what do you guys think As long as you run a tire sizes that are very close in diameter. (i.e. 245/45/17's and 275/35/18's)
