Re: The looks you get from Lighting owners. I beat one with my pos supercharged v6. After the race the guy in the lightning whined about traction (I was on BFG DR's he wasnt). I'm sure he would have taken me on the top end but we only ran up to around 65 or so. Had him by atleast a length.

Re: Stock boost? Part of the issue with running the same boost that we have been with the superchargers (up to 14psi) is that a turbo is putting boost pressure on the motor where it makes peak torque. 8psi at 3000 rpm will give much better results than 14psi at 5500 rpm since the engine makes...

Re: general forced induction question Besides alleviating compressor surge... on a centrifugal s/c setup without a bpv or bov the engine wont idle properly due to too much air flowing out of the supercharger vs how much air the engine required to idle. This would also occur if the bov or bpv...
