    SyTy's in Nebraska.

Not sure exactly where he lives; he worked with me at Stereo West. If you want, I can probably get you his number. I heard he was thinking of selling it. Ryan

    SyTy's in Nebraska.

A guy I used to work with in Omaha has a 36,000 mile 92 Ty. He never drives it; it just sits in a climated controlled garage.... All of the drivetrain was replaced under warranty right at 36,000 miles. It may have 38 or 40k on it by now but I doubt it. Ryan

I thought heater cores were supposed to be hard to change...

I changed the heater core in the Bravada today. It took a whopping 40 minutes. Ryan

    Bravada getting closer to right

Do you mean that the kit is available or do you just mean it has been done before? If you just mean it's been done before, that's fine with me as people making Sy's and Ty's faster has been done before, too. If anyone has some damaged cladding, let me know. I may be interested. Ryan

    Bravada getting closer to right

IF I could get the cladding cheap enough, I would do it. The rear doors wouldn't be too bad at all and extending the rocker section should be pretty simple, too. Anyone with some CHEAP cladding?? Ryan

    Bravada getting closer to right

Well, I did a few more things to the Bravada to make it better. I put in a Walbro 255 pump, added an AFPR, put heat reflective material on the IC, belched the IC hoses, put on a Taurus electic fan, and added fuel pressure and boost gauges. Runs a ton better now and my fuel system is now pretty...

Doing a cheap front brake upgrade on the Bravada

Well, I bought some 98 up brakes with the dual piston calipers for $160. I got everything still on the spindle so all I have to do is bolt the whole assembly on and then bleed the brakes. Looks like it should make a pretty big difference; I'll post back once I get them on. Ryan

Anyone have ECU pinout so I can verify ALDL is working??

Doug: This is the same laptop I use to tune LT1 cars. I use datamaster on them, too and have no problems linking. Would this make any difference? Yes, I have datamaster for both computers. Ryan

Thanks, Jason. That is exactly what I was looking for!!

Anyone have ECU pinout so I can verify ALDL is working??

OK. I can manually check for codes using the paperclip technique but Datamaster does not link. Is the wire on the link the one that is used for manual mode or is that the streaming data wire?? I need to know which one is the streaming data wire. Ryan

I think a wire is either hooked up in the wrong spot or it's just not hooked up. I can't get any communication with Datamaster. Ryan
