George, there is a real good chance I will be going thru Cincinnati to Columbus Monday. Looks like you are NW a tiny bit from Cincinnati. Could I look at the truck and make my decision Monday if you are available? Will pinpoint a passing thru time by Friday.....just want to run it by you sooner. I'll give T-Bone first shot.
It's obvious I'm basically giving this away. The $7500 is firm. Anyone that shows up with the intent of "will you take $6K", no. T-Bone, if you don't get me at home, please leave your number and I'll get you back this evening. I'll be in a study session for an assessment center I'm taking Saturday at 11AM. Oh, vibration is gone, one of the tires threw a weight. Got that fixed.

I am very fair and I'm serious whoever gets it will need another truck to take everything. There's just too much. I found a set of wheels and tires in the shed. You get those too. 16" 245/50 r16, perfect rubber perfect 5 spoke wheels. Fit syty but rears kinda sit under the truck a bit.

hate to see this truck leave george's hands as he has a ton of work into it and it is worth every penny of $7500 thats for sure.
however, out of the people on the list, I'd like to see Nick (Nastety92) get it due to others wanting to part it out.

I originally wanted a Typhoon due to my being 6'6" and 315#'s. I found a killer deal on a Syclone so I bought it. I have always had intentions on getting a Typhoon. Now I may just be able to fill that dream

For the record, I intend to remove the 4L80E and the coilover suspension and use it on my Syclone.....if anyone else would like to save the truck, show up with $5250 cash after I get it and I will have the OEM front suspension and brakes on it (I have the parts). All you would need is a 700R4 (or tranny of your choice) to get it going again. I don't revell in parting them out but when no-one else steps up to buy them after I acquire them, I am left with no choice. I offered my last mint Typhoon roller at an awesome price and no-one came through with the money.
I know how you and some others feel but trust me, I don't intentionally part decent running SyTy's :tup:

I agree. I really don't have the time to part out a running (and nicely equipped) truck. If it was bought from one who neglects their stuff, it would be different but I know George put some time and good money in this one since it was his personal Typhoon!

Again, I am interested primarily in the 4L80E tranny and coil-over system (and new battle bars). I have the OEM front suspension to put back on it. If you want this running Typhoon for $5,000 and some change with the OEM suspension on it, you can have it. If no-one takes it, I will part it out and make between $7,000 - sky's the limit;
custom made 3" Typhoon exhaust - $500
JS downpipe - $325
complete running motor - $1750
cladding w/braces - $2,850 minimum
interior parts - $2,000 minimum
wheels - $400
computer system - ???
extra goodies - anybody's guess but George doesn't collect junk!!

Don't intend to be greedy, Will, so if you can benefit by the other stuff after I take my 3 items, let me know and I will pass on the savings to you. I went ahead and contacted the next person. To answer something that came up this morning. No. You cannot do the 80e and converter that's in this truck for $4500. My intentions when I built this trans was 800HP.
There is over $7200 JUST in driveline. This is not a junkyard trans with new clutches and a shift kit.
The trans is a full billet model with billet 9.5" 3 clutch lockup converter. The converter runs $940 by ITSELF. Just the clutches in this trans cost me over $670.00. It now costs over $1200 to do the full billet lineup that's in it.
The controller is the TCI GenII. That is just over $1K from Jegs and Summit. Controller,harness, software, adaptor, everything. NOT just the controller.
Front prop is the $413 PG prop. NEW rear driveshaft.
The cladding alone is worth just over $2500.00.
Remember, you also have to factor in the kit to actually PUT the thing in.
All interior is here, new carpet, extra set of wheels with mounted tires, battle bars from CBR still in the box, installed CBR C5 brakes, installed JS coil over....crap you get the point.
There's a LOT of interest. Most came in phone calls and emails. So I'll just start working them in order as they came in.
I'm trying to be fair to those that contacted me but I don't want to hold someone up that really gonna buy as opposed to holding it for someone that's just kicking the tires if that makes sense.
What I'll do is the first person that really has the money gets it. I'll keep working the order but if a person has the funds I won't stop them from buying it because someone else wants to look at it.
I held off another person this weekend because I thought T-bone really wanted it and was gonna leave a deposit.
T-bone, I'll post up here so you'll know if it's gone or not.

Oh, there NO intercooler on it. I modified the stock turbo by porting the wastegate and machining out the dowel that prevents it from rotating. I was gonna do a front mount intercooler and reclock the turbo so it faced down instead of up. Right now it still faces up and is plumbed in to the throttle body. I still needed the truck driveable.
Like I said, if you think about it the truck and accessories are free with an installed 4l80e trans, kit, and controller setup.
