i got my air filter setup made and a t6 turbine blanket from VSracing.net i think its going to keep the underhood temps in line. also i saw my 1st boost the other day.. rolled into it only 3/4 throttle in low gear. boost gauge went from 15hg to zero.... and instantly to 5 psi which is the spring rating. boiled the hides, pulled GOOD and i let out. it only lasted about 2 seconds. i had to get out of it cause the lc1 froze up again. (its off the car now pos) and the aem ugeo is on the way. maybe this weekend i can run out 2-3 shift to 6500!

i had a pro street vega with a GN turbo motor............bought my house and sold it.

Never seen anything quite like that.... A+ for being different and a clean setup. I can see where that hood might be a problem lol.

im working on that video... i took the car up to my work the other day and got a bunch of lil stuff done. i got done everything i wanted to except the carpet and seat belt harnesses. im sending the carb off to get some work done too. ive gotten it close but i think they can make the drivability better. ill get that video up as soon as its done!

I'd be curious how the blow through carb is working for you. My friend tried it with a Pro-charger and had alot of problems with the carb leaking boost and gas even in a sealed enclosure.

thanks for the kind words.. yeah the carb can be a pain but at the end of the day id rather tune with s screwdriver than a laptop! nothing wrong with injection... just not for me. i like being able to go out there and tinker with it. ive gotten it close here, i think the carb guys can pull together the drivability.

WAY COOL! :tup: I have had a dozen v8 vega's throughout the years and a Monza Mirage with dual quads.. but, what you got going is simply insane...Nothing cooler than a small lightweight vehicle with lots of hp. Keep up the good work my friend Keep us informed with the updates! :myclone:
