yea its the only way you can get it out from under the cowl on the dang thing... Had to stop and move the hook on the chain to get it out...

Looks like a good job I have a nutty friend that actually changed a bent rod in his. I seen it but I didn't belive him until I seen it.

you know those engines are supposed to come out the bottom right? :lol: either way you got it done. All the F-bodies I have bought recently allowed me to just sazall the radiator support off and pull it straight forward

I have done them both way's. Although out the bottom isnt bad i prefer the top way. I dont have a lift here at home so it's just easier. This isnt the first one ive done this way and its really not that bad with an auto car. If it was a 6spd i would have pulled it out the bottom.

I bought the car with intentions of selling it to make a quick buck but may keep it as i've been wanting one for awhile now.

Looks like a good job I have a nutty friend that actually changed a bent rod in his. I seen it but I didn't belive him until I seen it.

This one has a disconnected rod....I was really hoping it didnt beat up the inside of the block too bad but it doesnt look good.
