We have upgraded! We are running 3.7.2 now.

There are still some bugs to work out, we are on it.

I can't get to the home page.
I have to click "post reply" to respond to a thread instead of the quick reply box at the bottom.

I'll let you know if I get anymore problems...

yep, got all that listed already as to be fixed...

it'll be over the span of a few days to get everything done.

I was wondering what was up when I went to log in , there was no home page, and had to click on new posts at the top task bar, instead of the normal one.Any other changes planned?

yeah we are gonna start lynching spammers...

seriously though we are fighting a losing battle with garbage posts so hopefully some of the new features will let us filter that kind of stuff more accurately.

Post up "glitches" as you see them and we are all working behind the scenes to make it as smooth as possible.

Just be glad we aren't dead in the water for 48+ hours like when we switched servers....

typing syty.net into firefox browser comes up blank. Going to a specific post there are no problems.

I get them all. The "from" title is slightly different now (SyTy/SGT instead of SyTy/SoGT) so maybe a filter/spambot is erasing them?

Hasn't worked for months & I'm not the only one with the problem.
I'm using the same IP/email that I've had for years, Yahoo.
I always check my BULK mail & notta, zilch.

On the home page, left column, normally it shows all the Usernames Online, since the upgrade it only shows a series of commas ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,.

The rest of it seems good, I like the new features!

I'm seeing (2) new glitches that didn't exist a couple of days ago:

Every time I click "new posts" I have to log back in.

When I get an PM notice, I open it in a new window, deal with it, and close the window. I then click "new posts". I open a thread, deal with it, then hit "back arrow" to return to the 'new posts.
Glitch: Every time I return to "new posts" index, I get the PM notification that I've already closed.

One other Item: I'm "banned" from trader-ratings. When I try anything with these I get the "DaveP you do not have permission to access this page...." message. I get the same message when I try to access the Home Page. So I get on it as a 'guest'.

And I'd sure like to be able to edit my own posts again!!! Come on guys, I'm 55 years old. Stop treating me like a child. Please remove the restrictions on my account.

And, I DO appreciate all you do here for us.

the back arrow issue you describe is not a glitch. If you read your PM and then click on New Posts (rather than clicking your back button), you will not get the popup. The popup is because you are clicking "back" to the same page that gives you the popup.

When you log in, it takes you to http://syty.net/ and it's like you're still not logged in. But if you click "Forums" on the upper left corner, you will then be logged in.
