Got bored today and found some old tin cups in the back of one of my kitchen cabinets and put some exotic vehicle logos on them, I still have to polish them up a bit, mainly the one on the right...Guess which one's my favorite? yea, the middle one! :rotf:

I need something productive to do with my time... :squint: I think that Sy/Ty Design would make a bangin' keychain though...or a cool banner...

At least tomorrow I'll have something to do....My gas tank is leaking, the fuel lines close to the gas tank are leaking, and the sending unit is leaking...hooray! :roll:

They're vinyl decals... made out of cast 9 year durability Avery vinyl...stuff you can really beat the crap out of... theyre dishwasher safe too lol... I SHOULD make Sy/Ty Beer mugs.... that sounds like a great idea, especially to put on the frosty mugs that go in the freezer!

Tin works too, you just have to be careful.... Now that you've got the stickers on there, take them out and sandblast them lightly to take the polish off the cups. Blast them to a nice "brushed" look. Then peel the stickers off and you've got a cooler effect and don't have to worry about the stickers peeling off. :cool:

i've got a cup around here somewhere that my brother and i did that too. It's looks awesome I'll round it up and snap some pics when i get a chance. :tup:

sweeeett!!! I wouldn't mind having a set of the middle one or the "beer mug" idea. any chance of making some more for members?

Looks pretty cool! How about doing it in glass, too? Either way, I'm down for a few if you find the time for a bigger batch.

that would make it more permanent and durable.

That's the better idea right there.... making the decals are rough due to that small "motorsports" lettering, however they can still be done....but laser etching is really the way to go with this type of thing.... or screen printing....

Actually, now that it was mentioned, I have a blank stainless insulated coffee thermos mug thingy....I think I'll make another one of those decals and post that up today if I dont ruin the decal while weeding it... the last one had some close calls lol.... :D

I'll see what I come up with :tup:

i vote laser etching and move this into gp :tup: but even if there ends up no laser etching, im down with decals, but deff need a gp on this, i want some bad
