Not sure how my motor tear down will go but since I am looking for another work truck that I can use as a personal vehicle, I thought I would feel out the market on eagle rods and forged pistons in case I decide to go that route and finally ditch the stock stuff. I use the TY as a toy and as our family vehicle. I want to build the motor up but that would leave me with nothing to drive except a standard cab 1ton utility truck while I save for motor parts. That could take a while, especially now with the money/time I have been dumping in to my business instead of the TY. If any one has a set of eagles used or new fill me in on what they are going for please. Have some stuff for trade but nothing that would be straight across without me forking up some cash I'm sure.

I have some eagle rods that have been heat damaged due to oil starvation, but some of them still maybe ok, also SRP pistons that are still in good condition, just a bit dirty due to my old engine running rich.. both have about 1000 miles on them.

Pistons I'm almost positive are undamaged, id be welling to sell them for cheap, just give me an offer, if your builder says they won't work I'll refund you 100%
I don't have any pics right now and they are in storage, i may get a chance to get over and grab some pics if needed. I bought them brand new from RPM

Are the pistons forged? I am assuming the rods are pretty much junk? I'd rather get a set.

ya the pistons are forged SRPs for bore 30 over.. were like $400 new for them, i believe I have the total seal piston rings still on them.
