Got the brakes put on the Syclone, so I thought I would share a few rare pics of the progress ;)

Shouldn't be too much longer before I can come out and play

The fronts are a one-off custom build by Aerospace, which took them 6 weeks (and a lot of money) to develop :)

The rear pieces are their standard, Ford 9" large bearing Pro Street kit.

...If you dont mind me asking, what size rotors are those and what size rims fit over them?
I keep trying to find suitable disc brakes that allow 15" lightweight wheels occasionally
(ie. brakes which can be used for multiple purposes such as autocrossing, dragracing, & street use
but are not specifically lightweight drag brakes). Unfortunately most majordisc brake companies
dont offer applications for our trucks, or they require 17" (or larger) wheels.

thanks

Exactly. That is why I ended up having Aerospace build these, because I was running into the same issue. I would have to measure the rotors, but the setup was specifically designed to clear 15" wheels.

Very, very cool. If you dont mind, could you PM me about pricing and what it
would take to order a set of front/rear brakes for a Typhoon? Im assuming
the kit has all the mounting accessories and that you have a set of 15" wheels
in mind (Weld ProStars, Greg Welds, Billet Specialities, or Jegs/Summit wheels).
Currently Im running Baers front/rear and they dont offer any solution to run 15" wheels
(altho I can run 16") and like yourself I prefer the stopping power but the flexibilitiy (without some sort
of spacer/adapter, caliper shaving, or hack).

Again, good work!

I am working with Aerospace regarding ordering more of these kits, now that they know what needs to be done. I hope to have details including pricing shortly. :)

Looks sweet!!!! What kind of steering linkage is that? They say ppm on them and look great.

More custom parts :) Just something the shop put together for me to replace the stock stuff, and help out with bump steer as well :)

I'd say about a third of everything on this truck is custom, severely modified, or a prototype. :) For example, that rear end is a piece that many people told me wasn't possible to build: Hybrid Ford 9" and GM 12 bolt. We ended up using pieces from both Strange and Moser :)

WOW that looks really good!! Makes me want to dump some money in to my brakes. Probably should have a long time ago right?

Fab 9" housing with a 12 bolt center section?
