VP Racing Fuel in San Jose Area?

I need to find a source for VP Motorsport 109 unleaded in the San Jose area, or Bay Area. Would also like to buy some VP M5 methanol (5 gallons). Does anyone know where one can buy VP racing fuels locally in this area? C16 and Sunoco 116 are out since I still have a cat converter, thanks.

Damn, nothing close to here. Does Sunoco make 109 or similar unleaded because Goodies in San Jose has their 100 and 104 unleaded. I want to go as high as possible without lead.

I've only scoped out the places between work & home.
Closest place to you is the station in Sunol by the golf course. They sell VP Street Blaze 100.

The gas from Goodies, do you buy a drum or do they have a regular pump you fill up at?

I find it interesting that 100 octane has not changed in price over the last year.

I use the VP109 on the dyno a lot. Burns pretty clean. Compared to say Rocketbrand 100 or 76, pretty comparable. I can't really say that its claimed 109 lets one add more timing and much more power than any of the other unleaded 100's. Seems to want the same air fuel ratio. Great quality fuel though and its oxygenated. Last time I bought it was $52 for 5 gallons. What size turbo you running and how much boost?

Re: VP Racing Fuel in San Jose Area?

My tuner wanted me to run C16 for the max power tuning, but I still have a cat and new WBO2 sensor and don't want to foul them. Unleaded 109 seems like the next-best thing and I just remembered that Zoom cycle accessories on El Camino sells various VP Racing fuels. I'll bet they can get the Motorsport 109 for me. If not, I'll probably just go with the Sunoco 104 unleaded available at Goodies in San Jose. This fuel will be used for my full timing/boost race program (25psi) and we'll have a separate program for 91 pump + VP M5 methanol (20psi?). It's a Precision PT72GTQ dual ball-bearing turbo. The new motor only has a few hundred miles now so I'm keeping it under 15psi for a while before I uncork it.
