For a change, it's good news

I have not spent a lot of money with George Blake / Prime Gears. George does not have a heavy financial motivation for providing me with assistance. However, he has spent a substantial amount of time on the phone with both myself and the tranny builder working on my transfer case, and is continuing to help with tracking down parts for the T-case rebuild, including calling people from the previous GP on his upgraded input shaft. He has also spent a good amount of time on the phone with me discussing my ideas for making my truck work, again without me needing to spend a ton of money with him before he would get on the phone with me.

So the purpose of this post is simple. You hear a lot of bitching and moaning (often quite justified) on the board about bad things, but very little on the positive side. I thought I would speak up when a vendor provided stellar service.

So a giant thumbs up to George Blake for his assistance, and I strongly recommend him for any transmission needs you might have

I found the two special parts you needed. They'll be here by Tuesday. Everything else, I'll order in.

That in itself is one of the main reasons that when I do have the time to swap into a 4l80, my wad of cash will be going his way.

Agreed, George is great. I expect his 700R4 to hold up quite well for me, but if/when it goes again, I'll most likely go back to George.
