New pics of my old Typhoon (with edelbrock intake)

I took these pics today, it was a nice day out and the truck hasnt had any good pictures taken of it in a long time.
Truck has 92K miles, all original paint except for the front was repainted before I bought it in 2000. I think the truck needs a paint job badly. It looks ok in pictures and from about 10 feet away but up close its rough.

Upper and lower intake have been done for four plus years now with no problems.
Truck has gone a best of 11.63@118 with this setup running a T-63 turbo

And yes the engine bay is a cluttered mess, someday that will be all cleaned up.

Thanks for viewing.

Nice!

Glad to see it out on the streets again Nick!

I thought the paint was supposed to last longer when they spend more time in the shop than outside. ;)

You would think so Jason wouldn't you, the truck has been running great for the past 2-3 years since I rescued it from the shop in CT. When it was down there being worked on it sat ouside for most of the time. Xplicit Racing and Design has been working on it since and its great to drive now, starts and runs normal like it should.
Hope things are well with you.

Things are well Eric. Truck has been great since you blew it up back in 2001, lol.

jpalmer the truck runs a dual core DeQuick intercooler, they both connect behind the front bumper and work as one unit.

Thanks guys,
Nick

I know it wasnt your fault Im just messin around. It would of blown if I was driving it too, probably sooner I can never keep my foot out of it, still to this day :D

The intercooler works great for my setup. I've always liked how it enters on the drivers side instead of over the hot turbo on the passener side. Intake temps are always very close to ambient when racing.
