I agree. There are few things I remember so vividly about this site. This is one. ;)

I am running the LS1 intake in a couple of the pics I posted above. Once I switch to the LSX block I will be running a carbed intake with a 90* elbow and a throttle body set-up like I ran on the 4.3 setup before.

Jimmy - I know your just mess'in with me. :)

Re: A few pics of my winter project

Motor is coming back out tomorrow and the firewall is getting a little tweaking. The motor will go back in and I will be powder coating the front brackets and welding the mounting tabs in for the rad and fan. Should look good by Sunday afternoon :)

Looking great... what exactly are you planning on doing for intercooling? Maby I missed that somewhere?... You've got the radiator in front of the core support...so that kinda limits front mount. Maby going Liquid/air?
Looks great!!!!!!
I had a chance to buy a LS engine for 1500.00 complete.. I was going to put it in the Naked Typhoon.
I've got a larger bill coming soon for the stroker engine for the Buick Camaro soon so I better hold the horses on the Naked Typhoon... I promise it'll live again and come out of Jimmy's Graveyard.

Yes, I am going water 2 air, its going up front under the rad support behind the bumper. Its small (12"x12"x4") so its perfect. The pump will be mounted under the bed by the cab and the tank will be going in the bed beside the fuel cell.

With a little help from a local friend Sunday afternoon, I got the engine back in along with the fenders, hood, bumper, etc... Time to order a few more parts to get this thing done :D
