Need detailed pics of stock motor

I got my new RPM motor and like an ass I had pulled those torx studs out of the stock motor without taking pics. Now, I'm not certain which holes in the heads or block they go into. They are used for the ground straps. Can someone please post some pics showing the front and back of a stock motor? I want to be sure I transfer those studs over into the correct holes, thanks.

You can just use a regular bolt, thats what I did. I think its way easier w/o the torx studs, those hings are nothing but trouble.

That's not a bad idea, but I was able to get the stock torx studs out without too much damage. I found pics of the front of the engine that I took during disassembly, so I just need to know for sure where those studs go in the back of the heads.

Yep, that's good, thanks. Could use one of the back of the motor too, if anyone has a shot.

Re: Need detailed pics of stock motor

Thanks man, I appreciate that. I got the front of the motor done today, but I still have one torx stud that I believe goes into the back of one of the cylinder heads (fuel lines?). I need to know where that last torx stud and nut goes. Any ideas?

See my other post brotha ;) How about yours?
Since the Ty is running now, I haven't done much to the Sy.
The last thing I did to the Sy today was, I spun the tires 180deg. so that I wouldn't get a flat spot in the tires and I cleaned all of the stuff off that seems to get stored on the hood, again.

The missing bolt in my picture above is the one that the stud goes into to mount the clamp that goes around the fuel lin to keep it in place. Should be the one kind of above the knock sensor below the manifold bolt.

don't put any studs in the back of the motor. just cuts your hands up when trying to tighten things up. If i am not mistaken you are replacing the fuel feed line with braided and you have an aftermarket turbo oil feed line correct? so all you need is to connect the ground strap and engine harness grounds.

Re: Need detailed pics of stock motor

I was wondering that myself, since I'll be changing out the stock fuel lines anyway. Yes, I do have an aftermarket turbo oil feed line. I'll go ahead and leave the torx stud out of the back of the motor then. Thanks for the help.

Re: Need detailed pics of stock motor

also i picked up a couple of the turbo oil drain back gaskets for the 90 deg fitting. I thought i had an extra fitting or two lying around to check the exact size but i cant find them (atleast easily). if you could measure the OD on the threads with some calipers that would ensure i send you the exact one. I'm pretty sure the thread is similar to 1/2" npt which is what i used to measure for size.
