My PEP 4Link Rear Axle Ready for Installation

I've had this complete assembly now for about two years. I bought the empty axle housing and all of the 4 link parts already welded on from a board member in Cali. He had it installed in a Typhoon that got broadsided and totalled right after they got it done. He cut it all out of the wreck and sent it cross country to me in NJ. I had the entire rear rebuilt with near bearings, seals, new Eaton posi (thanx Ed Hess) and installed a set a 12" Baer brakes (thanx Renz) on it. It's got brand new stainless prebent brakes lines (thanx ViciousV6) and a T/A rear cover on it.

One way or another I am finally going to get this thing installed this year - I'm sick of looking at all of these nice parts just laying around not getting used.

With my JSManufacturing coilover frontend already installed this truck should be a blast once adjusted correctly.

Check out the pics and let me know what you think? Suggestions, changes, missing parts, install concerns I might have overlooked - now's the time. Thanx.

I wouldn't be surprised if PEP would make another kit if you called them.

The toy shelves are all of my wife's comic and TV show collectors items. The cartridges I got from work - they were getting rid of them. Need any?

Your right, he was in the doghouse. I am not PEP's biggest supporter, they gave me the run around and flat out lied to me about shipping for month. Also he didn't give me 10% the info about the skelton front support when I bought. I also don't like PEP front suspension either, tolerance are too tighten and the Bilstein shocks are too long.

Anyways, the rear suspension was around $2200. Its probably the best piece PEP made.

Anyone have their contact information?

If I call and say I am interested in the 4-link setup they made for a typhoon they would know what I am talking about right? LOL

I hate calling places and not knowing everythign I am calling about.

I bet if you search for member 'Sandman' and search for PEP, the phone number will come up.

Looks like I seen that rear 4 link before, Hmmmm! Just make shure you have the pan hard bar level and you should be fine. Looks good. I maybe going that route again with my new ty. Good luck!

Re: My PEP 4Link Rear Axle Ready for Installation

I would suggest investing into a set of QA1's shocks at least so you can have some adjustability over the nitrogen filled bilsteins that like to leak down. Also, check the spring rate on those springs to make sure it is correct for your application.

I noticed that the disk's are mounted towards the front of the truck where as I have seen some installed towards the back, anyone know the correct way? or does it not matter?

I have seen that kit in action and it works well when setup correctly. Takes some time to learn what it is doing then learn to adjust it but once you get it set it shows great results
