I'm thinking about the SMC alky kit and wanted to see anybody's install pictures. The kit for our trucks is the universal kit. Thanks

I think a lot of people mount it in the rubber coupling right before the throttle body

I did it just like that photo, except I notched the band clamp to provide extra clearance so my nozzle was mounted 100% on the "flat" part of the inside of the intercooler. Once you open yours up you'll see it "drops off" near the core.

Mine is installed in the top of the motor. My kit was installed by Rockford Racecraft so I do not know how they did it.

Search my posts for help on getting it to run right. It's kind of tricky. The idea is to lean out your fuel and add alcohol back in to replace it. Then you can run more boost and timing at the same time. Make sure you run datamaster and watch the knock retard carefully.

Also be sure to wire everything in properly as suggested in the instructions and good solid grounds.

To start you off, pump setting 6, 12 PSI activation point, 18 PSI turbo Boost, and 14-17* WOT max timing would be a reasonable point where it should run safe as long as everything else is correct (I also set my NGK UR5 plug gaps down to .025-.030".

i made a tb spacer and went in that way. does anyone know if julio is still around? he's the one you should talk to... but he didn't return an email i sent him about 2 months ago about a kit for my regal.

You wouldn't happen to have a pic of that, would you? Did you make it out of composite material or aluminium?
