Just put back the stock chip and injectors and drove the truck a couple times. Now every time I turn it on and actually drive it, it wont turn off. Does anybody know whats going on? I did a quick search online and timing is mentioned? How would i check it? thanks-matt

Make sure TDC on #1 cylinder is at the mark on the balancer
Disconnect tan-wire (passengerside)

Then check timing

That sounds more like an Ignition switch problem (lower portion of the steering column) to me.

Stab it and steer it

Disconnect the alt fire it up and see what happens.

Do you have a turbo timer or an alarm with a turbo timer built in?

Takes away the potential problem that the alt is keeping the system energized even with the key off. Although the above suggestion that the problem is IN the key switch needs to be checked also.

I'd tend to agree with the igntition switch located at the bottom of the steering colomn. (white switch) and kind of a pain to change due to it's location above the steering shaft down towards the base of the colomn.
If it's screwed up internaly it'll stay running or won't turn over ect.
~Good luck.

I've seen incorrectly wired intercooler-pump switches do this very thing. Backfeeds the ignition.

The previous owner of my truck had hooked up an intercooler pump switch like this. If I turned the switch on I could take the keys out and the truck would still run. I used it a couple of times to warm up my truck in the morning on cold days. I have since rewired the pump to run with the ignition.

Try looking for a loose ground - I once had an old camaro with the same problem and it ended up being a loose ground in the trunk - I fixed it and all was good...
