well i went and did it again

i got myself another ty. another 92. so far only plans are to fix it up and drive it maybe flip it for cash to get a sy or just keep it. needs a good amount of work but i have some time in it already so it is coming along. i will make another post in the projects section later with details as to what i have done and plan to do. here are a couple pics and a link to more

not to bad for it is. for the price it is what i expected, but does have a fair share of rust around the windows and some other issues.

There is a red/grey down the street, ALL BEAT UP, im gonna snap some private I photos of it if I can; ill; get the vin. ps a lady ownes it, I think dogs ate some interior, its missing some cladding and sounds like anus. Yours is an amazing find, make it nice; I plan on doing the same with that one.

how does yours feel driving around so far? still on low boost?

Still on no boost !! I didnt install the new rockers from comp cams yet. I took the holiday weekend off im all SyTyed out. Tuseday ill get her running again. Then ill start tuning it up! Mabey by next week i can make some passes at atco. I was going to ask you if those guys that dynoed your truck new what the where doing or not. Harry Anderson wants 450 to do a street tuning session. I know hes good but im not so concerend about fuel economy since its not a daily driver for me. Im more into max HP and dyno pulls are the only way to get those kind of results. How busy are they? what did they charge you? Do they know the Big Stuff 3 System over DFI you run.

Just a side note, Frank. Try to get 60 or 70 lockups on that converter before you start really beating on it. It'll let the clutches and steels in it get mated up really good so nothing gets glazed. Kinda like breaking in new rotors if that analogy makes sense.

Wrong!

Harry and I used to do all of our tuning on the street.

Each pull datalogged on the street is the same as a datalog at the track.

harry will tune the fuel economy when your all done doing the pulls on the ride back.

If you just want a dyno generated hp number to talk about go to a dyno.

If you want to tune it for max hp. do what harry tells you to do.

OR you could do like many others i've watched. talk to harry, then go and do what everyone else says.

then come back to harry asking for help with your tail between your legs when it didnt work .
