The cricket under my hood

Since I got my Syclone, I have had this anoying high pitch squeak, simular to a cricket noise coming from under the hood. Today I realized it was my coil. Is it time to go get a new one, or could I just shove something in between the two pieces to keep them from squeaking?

pretty sure it was the coil, took it off and it was prettey loose, I don't know if these things are suppose to be or not. If this don't help I will check the booster. :tup:

Only time I heard that type of sound was when my belt tenser was just about to fly apart..I'd take your serp belt off and turn each pulley to ensure it's not a pulley seizing up on you. Also the brake booster check valve usually sounds more like a duck imo
