Just put A 20-g on the truck, with A Greddy boost controler. with the boost controler turned all the way down & the WG rod @ stock adjustment ( half the hole showing) with A A.R.T. pit bull chip. boost spike is uncontrolable. not even half throtlle & IM @ 15 + psi. full throttle & it hits 22-24 psi & blows the rubber boot that connects to the upper intercooler to the throttle body off. NOT GOOD! were should I start adjusting @ next? adjust the rod longer? ( less boost) not sure guy's please help. put it back to stock is not A bad idea!!

Thanks!
Aj.

I would double check your wastegate operation. Make sure the boost controller is setup right (vacuum hose) and maybe even settings. Also make sure you wastegate is opening with boost. I have used a mitivac to make sure the actuator is moving the puck.

I put A little bit of air into the WG accuator & it moves back & forth just fine. I will double check the controler to make sure it's in the lowest setting.

Thanks!

You can also try bypassing the boost controller and running the boost source straight to the actuator.

Sounds like the boost controller is hooked up wrong. Your base canister boost is right where it should be.
