Windshield replacement

Kind of an odd question, but does anyone know the tint grade on the stock windshield?

Couldnt tell you, mines actually tinted lol and its also cracked..

The windshields DONT come tinted. They dont block out any UV and they dont block any heat. Been tinting for almost 20 years. My Typhoon windshield is tinted (by me) with 50%. Very light.

Yeah when I got pulled over a few months ago for it, the cop told me it was 65% on mine.

I can tell you, it is sweet as hell at night having a tinted windshield. Glare is not a major problem anymore and if you go from a tinted one to a regular one, you'll quickly see the difference.

I do alot of them for older drivers mainly. It cuts ALOT of the night time glare. I love it

I guess what I meant was I need a replacement windshield and really dont wanna get the green looking glass. It seems thats all Ive seen for replacement.

They make a wind shield for these trucks called solar flare. It came stock on some s-10 and s-15. It gives off a red look. I am thinking about changing my windshield out with that kind. Anybody done this, my truck is red so I might be over kill.
