Big Thank You To Jeff&dob

I made the trip down to Jeff from JS manf. to help get the new motor a little closer to running right.

I used over 1 1/2 tank of fuel going down and about 3/4 going home!!!!

The tune is rough'd in and I learned ALOT!!!!

It'll take me awhile to learn how to get around the program and get things done but I would have been in such a HUGE mess with out their help.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU BOTH again!

Ps.. Jeff did you get your key's back in the next day package? :rotf:

Glad I could help, although the total effort I put in wasn't that high. The wideband hookup was the hardest part, and if Jeff hadn't flubbed it the first time we would've been cruising from there.

I think Jeff still owes you something for cleaning parts of his shop! I swear the lathe is the cleanest I've seen it since we brought it home.

Got my keys back, thanks. Monday wasn't good day with no keys to my trucks.

Dealer wasn't much help either.

Glad your truck ran good on way back. Always hard to dial a tune in 100% just the first time. Your engine sounds very healthy though and I suspect you won't have any issues for awhile.

Jeff... Sorry about the keys... I got back to the shop and started cleaning out the truck. I found the keys and thought Oh $hit who's going to be with out a truck?

I hope the engine is ok... I've built many small blocks and alot of Buick's.
The stock turbo is WAY undersized right now. I'm creating a intake restriction with the darn thing.
In the spring I'll change the turbo and fabricate a downpipe for it.

Dalwine..... The chip I was running from Jeff would be perfect for you with a 3bar MAP and a few other little tweaks.

I think I may have someone's 8 mm lodged in the frame of ol' reliable. I havent dug it out yet since there are way too many tools in the way.
