ill go ahead and throw this at you while youre new -
every truck is different. if you want the most bang for your buck, i would recommend this:

yes i know its not technically a "chip" but a custom tune is way better than a generic chip imo. if you start here from the very beginning, you will be able to custom tune your truck as you add minor upgrades. you want to start with tuning the truck when its stock before throwing parts at it. read about some of the stuff in that thread as i wish i'd have found it earlier. Also read up on Datamaster, another logging program. Youll thank me later if you go this route.
If you arent convinced and still want a chip, look into the 'ultimate chip' (req a 3bar map sensor). its a neat interface but runs $400+. check the parts for sale section as they come up from time to time.

todd is still doing the occasional stock injector programs but nothing else.. No 50's, 75's etc.
Nolans programs seem to be alot better however you dont have the multi chip option like with the ultimate, and a nifty led display with knock light, security feature, built in boost controller, etc.
