Want to stain scent into truck

Some people have a distinct smell to their cars. Some smell like smoke, some smell like musty floor boards, some smell like potpourri, etc.. You get the pic. My truck smells like nothing except sometimes it will smell like exhaust or even every now and then it smells the way it did when I first bought it. I found an air freshener I really like but they only make it in small spray bottles. Im not disciplined enough to spray it everytime I get in the truck. So I am wondering if there is anyway I can maybe buy a bunch of these freshener bottles and stain the scent into my truck somehow. Anyone have any ideas?

I find it more enjoyable to buy a little bit of race fuel and spray it on my chest before I leave.

Before you go wild with the car-scent stuff, think of your passengers! We've all expierenced getting into a friends car, only to be hit in the face by "new car smell", because they pulled the bag all the way off the little pine tree:rotf: . I would think that spraying some of the scent under the seats, as well as the floormats might liven things up a bit. Just don't get it on the leather or dash, otherwise there may be a bad reaction. Also a spritz or two on the headliner might make it a little more noticable.:2cents:

Before you get too carried away, remember, Scent is phasic... meaning, eventually you don't notice it after a while.... that's why the new "plugins" have two scents. Ever notice when someone is burning a scented candle - you notice it right away, then, eventually, if you think about it, you can't smell it anymore.

No matter how much you scent your truck, eventually you wont notice it. Only after exiting and smelling something else, then reentering the truck will it be noticeable, and even then, probably not as strong as when you first started. :tup:

Maybe you could soak the carpet padding w/ the stuff!
It works w/ dog and cat piss, plus pacculi oil. You never get that funk out.

Frabreeze works great and leaves a very nice faint smell for about 6 months. Give it a try...

i just spit mt dew out of my nose... that is so funny. i had a neighbor one time that had 7 dogs that stayed in her house... that place reaked of piss...... this is my vote... soak the padding with it. just dump an entire bottle in each floorboard...it's gotta work.

i just spit mt dew out of my nose... that is so funny. i had a neighbor one time that had 7 dogs that stayed in her house... that place reaked of piss...... this is my vote... soak the padding with it. just dump an entire bottle in each floorboard...it's gotta work.

Better yet, since it is your truck, use your piss. Do not be afraid to just spray your "post-filtration" refreshements all over every square inch of the carpet. And no worries about getting it on the seats, as you can just wipe it off of the leather after it dries, or leave it on the seats and carry a little scent with you every time you drive the truck.

I like to see someone keep their passengers on their feet. Here's what to do. Always eat different kinds of food, then be sure to fart in your truck everytime you get in it. You'll always have something new, exciting, and slightly different to enjoy.

Jeeesuuus!! I might try dumping a bottle on the floor. This stuff is awfully potent when you spray it so maybe that will work. I just didnt want it to mold or anything like that. Maybe it could even muster in the carpet and smell worse. I dont know. I knwo I dont want it to smell like piss or any kind of fuel. I drives me nuts that all the pimp daddys in the world alway have great smelling cars that you can smell walking by them and mine always smells like a wrench session.
