Question about a distributor!!!

Did MSD make an aftermarket replacement distributor for a stock syty engine?? If so,,does anyone know a part #??
If not,,does anyone have any ideas of an aftermarket replacement distributor for a stock syty???

This distributor can be used with a stock motor,,correct??


As for what is wrong with my truck,,about a week ago it was running fine until I was stopped at a light the truck died and the tack and boost gauge went crazy...
it didn't throw a code until yesterday,,which was 42....I was told to check the cap and rotor first but unfortunately that was not the cause.....

first of all i have the msd distributor, its nice and yes you can use with a stock motor. second i don't think it's worth the money when you can buy a module, pickup, cap, rotor, shims, etc. and rebuild yours if the bushings are not worn. you won't gain anything by going aftermarket. hth
